Continuing her journey in the field of art for a long time, Dipa, through intermittent experiments and experience, has evolved out an art form which is abstract in appearance, but is pervaded with a mellow radiance and gives out an essence of tranquility and purity, conveys the message of peace, reflects the all - inclusive harmony inherent in the Universe.

This effect is obtained through the use of geometric figures and mingling of colors in subtle way. The geometrical divisions and shapes are inspired by the traditional concept of PANCHABHUTA —the five elements --Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space - - the five constituents of human body —that provide her work on canvas with a 3D effect.

Different shapes and arrangements are made by the application of knife, spatula, roller, or, patch of cloth and a vibrant expression is created through the use of colors layers after layers. Blurred geometrical divisions in the depth of the light color creates an illusion of distance. In the beginning of her career, Dipa showed her skill in figurative work. Even when she worked in group, she maintained her uniqueness. Now, having the same expertise, her work is eloquent enough with sheer substance mingled with moderate confidence.

Providing visual as well as spiritual satisfaction Dipa will depict Indian traditional concepts in abstract form. Her paintings create the illusion of third dimension.

We are expecting more art works from Dipa. With the masterly use of her innovative thinking, she will surpass all the stereotypes and forge out for herself a novel medium of art where new thoughts meet the new techniques and will create wonder.
