Colaba Arts in partnership with "Art for Humanity" has been conducting art shows on humanitarian basis since 2019.  The Art For Humanity movement germinated from artist coming together after the floods of 2019 affecting, Sangli,  Kolhapur and western Maharashtra.  The first show of 282 artworks was held at Ravindra Natya Mandir Dadar and was sold out, collecting over 6.21 lakhs of funds which were donated to the cause.

The next challenge in 2020 was the COVID pandemic and Art for Humanity continued the cause of the artist by executing its first online exhibition and sale.  As soon as pandemic was over Art for Humanity held its first offline show at Colaba Arts gallery, Worli, in 2021.  With the Ganesh show "Atha 2021" showcasing more than 252 art works from 1204 entries and conducting various workshops and live events and activities over 15 days.

The entire event is sponsored, without charging any fees to the artist and all proceeds from the sale goes to the artist, without any commission to the organisation or to the sponsor gallery.  This is possible because of our generous sponsors, artists, and well-wishers.

We will be continuing this tradition at the prestigious Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery, Nariman point from Monday 26th September to Saturday 1st October 2022.
